Goro Terms of Service

Welcome to Goro: Your AI workout buddy, an AI-powered workout form-check application developed and operated by TANAB TECHNOLOGIES JOINT STOCK COMPANY (“TanabTech”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the app, website pages related to the app, and related services (together, the “Service”). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

Plain English: the app is for adults who can agree to these terms.

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By creating an account or using the Service, you represent that you are 18 or older and can enter into a binding agreement. We may suspend or close accounts that do not meet this requirement.

2. The Service

Plain English: the app grades workout sets from video and keeps a history of your reports.

The Service lets you record or upload a short workout video, receive an AI-generated form score and coaching notes, browse an exercise-reference library, and review past reports in the Vault. Features may change over time as we improve the product.

We do not guarantee any specific result, fitness outcome, injury prevention, or performance improvement from using the Service.

3. What this app is not

Plain English: this is a software tool, not a personal trainer, physical therapist, doctor, or emergency service.

The Service is for self-directed workout form feedback only. It does not provide medical, physical therapy, coaching-certification-level, or other licensed professional advice. It is not a substitute for professional guidance, especially if you have an injury, medical condition, or are new to an exercise.

Stop an exercise immediately if you feel pain, dizziness, or anything unsafe. If you may be experiencing a medical emergency, contact emergency services or a qualified professional immediately.

4. AI disclaimer

Plain English: the form check is AI-generated, and AI can make mistakes.

Exercise detection, form scores, and coaching notes are generated automatically from your video by AI models. They may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for your body, equipment, or experience level. You are responsible for evaluating this feedback before relying on it, and for using safe form and appropriate weight for your level.

5. Accounts and security

Plain English: keep your account information accurate and protect your login.

You may register with Google Sign-In, Sign in with Apple, or email verified with a one-time code. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. Notify us at contact@tanabtech.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

6. User content

Plain English: you own the videos you submit, and we need permission to process them so the app can work.

You retain ownership of the workout videos, images, and other content you submit to the Service (“User Content”). You grant TanabTech a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, process, transmit, analyze, and display User Content solely to provide, secure, maintain, and improve the Service, including sending video to third-party AI providers for form-check analysis.

You are responsible for your User Content and for ensuring that you have the rights needed to submit it, including the rights of anyone else visible in a video. Do not submit content that is unlawful, abusive, infringing, or harmful.

7. Subscriptions, billing, cancellation, and refunds

Plain English: subscriptions are optional and run through Apple or Google.

Some features, including additional form checks, may require a paid subscription. Subscription plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. We do not store or process your payment card details directly.

You can cancel at any time through your device’s app-store subscription settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep paid features until then. We do not provide prorated refunds for partial periods. Refund requests must be submitted to Apple or Google under their refund policies.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the Service for unlawful, fraudulent, harassing, abusive, or harmful purposes;
• submit video or content that violates another person’s rights or privacy;
• attempt to jailbreak, manipulate, or bypass AI safety systems;
• reverse-engineer, decompile, scrape, or extract the Service or underlying models;
• probe, overload, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to the Service;
• misrepresent yourself or impersonate another person or entity.

9. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, create risk for other users or the Service, fail eligibility requirements, or use the app in a way that may expose TanabTech or others to liability. You may stop using the Service at any time and may request deletion of your account by emailing us.

10. Our intellectual property

All rights, title, and interest in the Service, including design, code, branding, product names, logos, text, and other materials, are owned by TanabTech or our licensors. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our intellectual property except the limited right to use the Service as permitted here.

11. Third-party services

The Service depends on third-party services, including Apple, Google (including Gemini AI processing and Google Sign-In), and our cloud hosting and storage providers. Your use of app stores, sign-in providers, purchases, and device-level services may also be governed by their terms and privacy policies.

12. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or that AI-generated form feedback will be accurate or suitable for you.

13. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TanabTech will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data loss, business interruption, injury, or other harm arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Our aggregate liability for any claim related to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us through the Service in the three months before the claim, or USD 50 if you paid nothing.

14. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless TanabTech and its officers, employees, contractors, and agents from claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising out of your User Content, misuse of the Service, violation of these Terms, or violation of law or third-party rights.

15. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. The parties will first try to resolve disputes through good-faith negotiation within 30 days. If unresolved, the dispute will be submitted to the competent People’s Court in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

16. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the app, website, or email where appropriate. Continued use of the Service after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.
